THE EVOLUTION OF FINESSE
In 2013, Garfield Geddes established what is now formerly, Finesse Furniture Corp. Through word of mouth, the company became popular among residential clients. Requests for furniture fabrication, custom wood furniture, custom kitchen cabinetry, restoration and refinishing services of heirloom furniture were provided.
Nicole Geddes was always a part of Finesse Furniture Corp, albeit through volunteer work. Nicole started fielding the influx of calls for appointments, answering customer service questions and sometimes getting her hands dirty, learning the ins and outs of custom cabinetry and finishing. Two skills that are independent of each other.
Quality and Reliable Furniture Fabrication Services
The effects of the economic down turn in 2008 spilling over into 2009 and 2010 was seen firsthand, in the commercial and residential markets. To avoid the expense of new custom kitchen cabinetry, and custom retail store display showcases, residential and commercial customers opted to renew them. As one can imagine, the requests for refinishing grew exponentially.
In January of 2012, like the Phoenix, Finesse Custom Finishing and Cabinetry Corp evolved from what was once thought of as a dead skill; finishing. Along with the name change, there was also a change in management. Honing her knowledge of custom furniture finishes, refinishes and cabinetry, Nicole Geddes is now a partner and the account manager for both the residential and commercial markets. While Garfield Geddes focuses on the day to day operations.
